Agri-Shield is a blanket protection coverage designed to help protect you and your farm.

Walk away from the hassle of writing lists of everything you want insured. Agri-Shield allows you to set your limit of coverage for your insurable property. Just like that, nothing gets missed, and you don’t need to continually update a list when you purchase new items.

 Farm Property

Your Agri-Shield coverages provides a single amount of protection for:

Firefighting Expenses

  • Liability for fire department charges incurred when a municipal Fire Department is called to save or protect property insured under your policy.

Debris Removal

  • The cost of clean-up and removal of debris off the Insured property.

Farm Building Contents and Tack Equipment

  • Usual to a farming operation, owned and used by the Insured and for which the Insured is legally liable.

Tools

  • Usual to a farming operation owned and used by the Insured and for which the Insured is legally liable.

Limits of Liability

  • The amount of protection for an occupied home begins at $60,000 with a deductible of $250.00.

Farm Product

Your Agri-Shield coverage provides a single amount of protection for:

  • Fertilizers and Chemicals usual to a farm operation
  • Fodder owned by the Insured
  • Grain usual to a farm operation
  • Produce usual to a farm operation

Limits of Liability

  •  Protection begins at $100,000 with a deductible of $250.00
  • 80% Co-insurance clause applies

CO-INSURANCE CLAUSE – No co-insurance applies under the Agri-shield Farm Property or Product coverages. 

All other co-insurance clauses apply where applicable.
